An EU trade mark that covers twenty seven states in one filing. A privacy notice that satisfies the EU GDPR. Distribution and consumer terms that hold under EU rules on unfair terms, consumer rights and competition. That is the EU law layer, and it is advised from London at fixed fees by a Solicitor of England and Wales. Forming a company in a member state, and advice on the law of that state, is delivered through our correspondent network of local counsel, coordinated by us so you have one point of contact.
Handled entirely in writing. No hearings, no meetings, no attendance required.

Trade marks, data protection, consumer and competition rules operate at EU level and are the same in Dublin, Berlin and Madrid. That layer is what we advise on, from London, on fixed fees.
Company formation, employment contracts under a member state's law, tax registration and dealings with a national regulator are member state matters. We instruct and coordinate correspondent counsel there, and you deal with one adviser.
We work alongside your UK, US or home counsel and take the EU layer off their desk. We never hold out as admitted in any member state.
Yes, one EU trade mark registered at the EUIPO covers all twenty seven member states. It does not cover the United Kingdom since Brexit; a separate UK mark is needed for Britain.
Filings for applicants outside the EEA must be made through a representative entitled to act before the EUIPO. We prepare the search, specification and strategy and file through our EEA correspondent, so you deal with us throughout.
Often not for selling goods or services cross border; usually yes for employing staff or holding local licences. We scope the question and, where an entity is needed, instruct and coordinate correspondent counsel in the state you choose.
No. We advise on EU law as it applies to a business outside the EU, and on English law contracts. Member state law is referred to correspondent counsel in that state, quoted separately.
If you offer goods or services to people in the EU or monitor their behaviour, yes, under Article 3(2), wherever you are. We assess it and draft the documents; where an EU representative is required we introduce one, since that role must sit in a member state.
An EU trade mark in one class filed through our EEA correspondent, an EU facing privacy notice with records of processing, and B2B or B2C terms drafted for EU sale. EUIPO official fees are separate.
Send a brief outline of your matter. You will receive a personal reply from a solicitor, with a fixed-fee quote where the scope is clear. Payment is taken before work begins; every fee is fixed in writing first.
