Western Legal / Data protection
Data protection · UK GDPR

Your website is making legal promises right now. Make sure they're the right ones.

Website terms, privacy and cookie policies that reflect what you actually do; UK GDPR documentation that would survive an ICO question; and data processing agreements your enterprise customers will actually sign.

Handled entirely in writing. No hearings, no meetings, no attendance required.

Common questions

FAQs.

We copied our privacy policy from a bigger company. Is that a problem?

Yes, twice over: it describes their processing, not yours (so it is inaccurate, which is itself non-compliant), and it may promise standards you don't meet. Policies are cheap to draft correctly and expensive to be wrong about.

Do UK small businesses really get ICO attention?

Enforcement concentrates on marketing breaches and mishandled complaints, both of which start with an unhappy individual, not a regulator's sweep. The documents above are what turn a complaint into a closed file.

Our customer sent a 40-page DPA. Can you just review it?

Yes, reviewed and marked up at the DPA fee, with a plain-English note of what you are actually committing to and what to push back on.

Does this cover EU GDPR too?

The UK and EU regimes remain closely aligned; where your processing touches the EU, the documents are drafted to work under both, and you will be told where the differences matter for you.
