Western Legal Corporation Limited (Company No. 10453250) provides trademark registration and intellectual property services. Our registered office is 19 The Circle, Queen Elizabeth Street, London, SE1 2JE. Santosh Pandey is a Solicitor regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA No. 641612). All legal work is carried out by Santosh Pandey personally.
2. Scope of services
UK trademarks: We provide trademark search, registrability advice, application drafting, filing with the UKIPO, handling of standard examination queries and objections, and guidance through the opposition period to registration.
EU trademarks: Filed through our EU correspondent agent based in Hungary. Our flat professional fee covers up to 3 classes. EUIPO official fees are paid separately.
India trademarks: Filed by Santosh Pandey in his capacity as an Advocate enrolled with the Bar Council of India. Pricing is all-inclusive of official fees.
The free trademark search we offer is a preliminary assessment of registrability. It is not an exhaustive clearance search and does not constitute a legal opinion or guarantee of registration.
3. Fees and payment
Our fees are fixed and published on our website. Current fees for UK trademark registration are £200 professional fee per class, plus UKIPO official fees (£170 per class, rising to £205 from 1 April 2026). Full pricing for all jurisdictions is available on our pricing page.
Payment is due before we file your application. We accept bank transfer and card payments. UKIPO, EUIPO, and other government fees are payable in addition to our professional fees unless stated otherwise.
Disbursements: If your matter requires additional disbursements beyond the published fees (for example, evidence of use in distinctiveness objections), we will inform you and obtain your approval before incurring them.
All prices are exclusive of VAT. Western Legal Corporation Limited is not currently VAT-registered.
4. What is included
Our professional fee includes: preliminary trademark search, registrability advice, class selection guidance, application drafting, filing with the relevant registry, handling of standard examination queries and formality objections, and updates at each stage to registration.
What is not included: Substantive objections under section 3 of the Trade Marks Act 1994 (distinctiveness), opposition proceedings, appeals, and renewal applications are not covered by the standard professional fee. If additional work is required, we will advise you and provide a quote before proceeding.
5. Search guarantee
If we advise you to proceed with filing and the UKIPO subsequently refuses your trademark due to a conflicting earlier mark that our preliminary search should have identified, we will refund our professional fee less a £50 administration charge. UKIPO government fees are non-refundable as they are paid directly to the registry. This guarantee does not apply to refusals on distinctiveness or other grounds unrelated to prior conflicting marks.
6. Your right to cancel
As our services are provided at a distance, you have the right to cancel your instructions within 14 days of the date we confirm acceptance of your instructions, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
If you ask us to begin work before the 14-day cancellation period expires, you expressly consent to us starting work immediately. If you then cancel during the 14-day period, you will be required to pay for any work already completed and any UKIPO or other official fees already incurred, which are non-refundable.

7. Our obligations
We will carry out your instructions with reasonable care and skill, in accordance with the SRA Standards and Regulations and the SRA Code of Conduct for Solicitors. We will keep you informed of progress at each material stage. We will respond to communications within 2 business days.
8. Your obligations
You agree to provide us with accurate and complete information, respond to our requests for information or decisions in a timely manner, and pay our fees when due.
9. Limitation of liability
We do not guarantee that any trademark application will be accepted by the relevant registry. Registration decisions are made by the UKIPO, EUIPO, or Indian Trade Marks Registry and are outside our control. Our liability is limited to the professional fees you have paid us for the relevant matter, except in cases of fraud or wilful default.
10. Confidentiality and privilege
Communications between us are protected by solicitor-client legal professional privilege. We will keep your information confidential in accordance with our professional duties and our privacy policy.
11. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please see our complaints procedure. You may also contact the Legal Ombudsman or the SRA as described in that procedure.

13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
